WHY SHOULD YOU BUILD IN OUR INDUSTRIAL PARKS?

LOCATION: Rensselaer is located approximately 100 miles south of Chicago, IL and 100 miles North of Indianapolis, IN with easy access to I-65. The City of Rensselaer extends to the 215 Exit off I-65. Rensselaer is a well-traveled area, having two state highways, 114 and 231. Access to rail service and the Jasper County Airport is also an advantage. BENEFITS: Benefits of living and/or operating in the City of Rensselaer includes small town atmosphere, low taxes, Tax Abatement Programs, TIF Districts, EDC Financing Packages, quality labor at affordable scales, respectable work ethics, easy access to I-65, excellent health and educational facilities, pleasant mixture of large-chain shopping to small mom-and-pop shops.
SITE ADVANTAGES: The City of Rensselaer is one of few in the state of Indiana to own and operate five utilities. Rensselaer's city owned utilities include Electric, Natural Gas, Water, Sewer, and Garbage. City owned utilities extend to I-65 Exit 215.
DREXEL PARK: Acts as a major point of entry for all surrounding communities. Drexel is approximately 100 acres of retail and/or service space that is "Shovel Ready", and one of Rensselaer's fastest growing areas.
LINTNER INDUSTRIAL PARK: Offers easy access off US 114. Lintner has approximately 82 acres of service space with access to CSX Railroad. IMPA obtains a solar panel area in this district as well. The Lintner Industrial Park is pictured below.
FAIRGROUNDS: This area is located on the west side of Rensselaer. It is surrounded by the Jasper County Airport, several fast-food restaurants and two hotels. This area has experienced rapid growth since possessing all City of Rensselaer Utilities and is "Shovel Ready". It is directly east of the 215-mile marker exit on
I-65. Currently having nearly 70 acres of agricultural ground, this property is classified as Zone I1 (Light Industrial), which makes it ideal for future growth. The area is pictured below.
